ONE CENTURY, ONE CELLAR
Bodega Cosecheros Reunidos was created in Olite, Navarra, north of Spain, in 1913. It was among the first wineries to reborn after the philoxera crisis which started in Europe around 1875.
Legend wants that vines were brought by the Earl of Champagne, Thibault, when he was also king of Navarra, in the 13 th century.
He probably also found the already existing vineyards planted in Roman Times, around II AD.
In our vineyards, we have a balance of all grape varieties from the region: the Viura in the whites, Grenache in the roses and reds Merlot, Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Cabernet Sauvignon in the reds.
Special mention deserve the old Grenache vines with single vineyards of 100 years old vines.
These Single Vineyards jointly with the artcraft in the Coupage
and care of the Hand Picked selection impart to our wines a Terroir character that has been filling both the taste and the spirit of our honourable customers during a century. |
